East Carolina University is proud to host Across Borders IX and invites scholars in humanities, social sciences, and fine and performing arts, including communication, literature, linguistics, translation and interpretation, media, journalism, cultural studies, theatre, dance, graphic design, art, music, and others, to a discussion on the Freedom of Expression: Communication, Identity and Culture.

Across Borders IX Conference Call for Book Chapter

The submission deadline is now extended to October 7th, 2022.

 
Please consider submitting your manuscript! Check out the details of the call, important dates (please note some dates are changed), publisher information, and submission button below.

We welcome the presenters of the Across Borders IX conference to submit an original essay for the edited book titled: “Freedom of Expression Across the Borders: Communication, Culture, and Language,” edited by Linda Kean, Sachiyo Shearman, and Mary Tucker-McLaughlin at the College of Fine Arts and Communication, East Carolina University and Władysław Witalisz at Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland. Each manuscript should be comprised of no more than 10,000 words, including the cover page, abstract (250 words), references, and appendix. Please prepare the manuscript following the APA 7th edition style writing (https://apastyle.apa.org/products/publication-manual-7th-edition). All interested contributors can submit their manuscripts at the Across Borders Website at https://artscomm.ecu.edu/abix-paper-submit/. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Please acknowledge that contributors to this book will also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
