Wright Auditorium
Wright Auditorium is a multi-use facility operated by ECU’s Division of Academic and Student Affairs. The structure entered service in 1937 and has been renovated twice, most recently in 1981. The College of Fine Arts and Communication is a major tenant, producing series and events including the S. Rudolph Alexander Performing Arts Series, Arts Smart, Dance@Wright, ECU Symphony Orchestra, Bandorama, the Billy Taylor Jazz Festival and more.
All S. Rudolph Alexander Performing Arts Series and Arts Smart seating is reserved.
SRAPAS and Family Fare patrons may purchase single tickets by zone, with price differentiation for prime, standard, value and tweet seats. Refer to the Wright Auditorium SRAPAS seating map for a visual representation. Arts Smart patrons are assigned seating in order of payment receipt.
The auditorium has excellent sightlines at all seating positions for most productions. The orchestra level features no-step access via an elevator located on the south side of the building at the Dowdy Student Stores entrance. The balcony is served by a separate elevator, also on the south side of the building. Please call the Central Ticket Office for ticketing needs 252-328-4788.
