The School of Art and Design will hold their annual holiday art sale on Nov. 29 through Dec. 2 at the Greenville Museum of Art. The sale will feature a variety of unique student works that are perfect as holiday gifts.
Works featured will include cards, hats, scarves and other textiles, sculptures, ceramics, prints, jewelry and more.
The Holiday Sale is part of a collaboration between the School of Art and Design and the Greenville Museum of Art. There will be not only student work featured, but also work by instructors at the museum.
Each concentration in the School of Art and Design is supported by a student-run guild. Guilds include art history, animation and interactive design, art education, film and video production, ceramics, graphic design, foundations, graduate artists, illustration, metals, painting, photography and printmaking. Each guild will be represented at the sale.
The proceeds from the Holiday Sale benefit the guilds, who use the funding to secure guest artists in their concentration for portfolio reviews, lectures and professional workshops. Guest artist events are held on the ECU campus and are open to the public, benefiting both the student and community arts community.
